About Our Family

Many Paths Converging Into One Family
We met on a blind date in 1992. We were married in 1994. After 6 years of struggling with infertility, we decided to submit our application to adopt. Only 4 months later (Aug. 2000)we adopted a newborn baby boy and named him Gabriel. When Gabriel was 1 1/2 years old, we found ourselves pregnant with Julian (born 6/28/02 w/out infertility support). We still felt like we needed 1 more to complete the family. So 5 years later we adopted Rachel from China (DOB 10/02/06). Now our family is complete and chaotic. We feel so blessed to be sharing this life with these beautiful children. Gabriel is our cautious, artistic, thinker. Julian likes to try new things and is a free spirit. Rachel (we're still figuring her out) loves food and her brothers (mom and dad take 4th place after the dog). Having 3 little gifts from heaven has made us more organized, more exhausted, more grateful and so thrilled to be viewing this wonderful life through the eyes of our children.
